"Cherish & Nurture, Flourish & Aspire"

Harvest Service

We gave thanks for the natural gifts around, we considered others who have so little and reflected on our responsibilities to use resources fairly by avoiding waste during a thought-provoking service at Church.

It was lovely to see many parents, grandparents and other supporters in church yesterday for our Harvest Festival. Thank you to Mrs Densham for officiating at the service and to Mrs Blundell for her lovely organ playing. Thank you too for all the contributions of different meal ingredients from the different classes: From toast toppings to vegetarian chilli, the Christian Charity, ‘Somewhere to Go’, in Weston is going to be spoilt for menu choice in the coming week! The children contributed their poetry, their choral speaking, their
collages, their prayers and their food facts magnificently.

** We have since received a wonderful letter of thanks for all donations that were sent to 'Somewher to Go' - please click here to read
