Performing Arts Evening

Bravo to all our musicians for a splendid concert this evening...

The two choirs, orchestra and instrumentalists performed with certain panache  to a packed All Saints' Church this evening. Our annual Performing Arts Evening is always a highlight on the school calendar and this year money raised from concert tickets was donated to the Luhimba Project in Tanzania.

We are very sad that this was our woodwind teacher, Mrs Lincoln's final concert with the school as she retires at the end of term. She leaves us safe in the knowledge that she has furnished our thriving orchestra with a fabulous range of young and talented wind instrumentalists including performers of clarinet, oboe and saxophone. We all thank her, and the other peripetetic musicians, for all their hard work in encouraging and inspiring our young musicians. It is always a pleasure to see how many past pupils are still performing at concerts at the secondary school years after leaving Wrington.
