Robotics workshop

What a fantastic way to kick off the new computing curriculum...

There was a real buzz of excitement from the Year 3 classroom all day today as Zan led an inspiring robotics workshop with children across the whole of Key Stage 2. Problem solving was the order of the day as the children used some super Lego hardware and sotware to learn about control in computing. One group even managed to make their robot appear to breakdance! I felt a very proud headteacher to see the great team work in action from children of all ages.

In terms of computing, this is just the beginning and we will be working further with Zan to develop our own resources to build on the fabulous learning that occured today. Watch this space!
