Do you have a room for a baby?

What would you do if a mother with baby knocked on your door asking for shelter and warmth on Christmas day? What a wonderful evening of entertainment from the whole Key Stage 2 team as the children performed their Christmas production...

Superb singing, both as soloists and in ensemble, energetic dancing, clear speaking and great acting characterised this performance. All children in Key Stage 2 took part in singing and dancing. Year 5 took on the main roles and they should feel particularly proud of their success!

The important message of the true meaning of Christmas with its compassion for those in need was told very powerfully by the children and I am thrilled that over £250 was raised for the homeless charity, Crisis at Christmas.

As always, it was a real team effort by all the staff in Key Stage 2 with drama and dance tuition of the children. Particular mention goes to Mr Cole who directed the performance and and our music leader, Mrs Whitehouse for conducting. We are very grateful to Wrington Drama Club for lending us some of their equipment which was greatly appreciated.

Bravo to all!
