Seventeen children from Wrington CE Primary took part in a joint choir with Winford Primary to sing to Princess Anne as she arrived at the airport to open the new terminal. We chose our favourite traditional Christmas carols to welcome her including Away in a Manger, Ding Dong Merrily on High and I Saw Three Ships. We were all very excited, we sang beautifully and looked very smart in our best school uniforms!

At the end of the morning one of our children from Year 6, Max, had the important job of presenting Princess Anne with a gift on behalf of the airport.

What a memorable day it has been for us all!
